President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmaajo has concluded his official visit for three days at Italy.
The president was in Rome for talks with Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and President Sergio Mattarella, before departing for talks with Speaker of the Italian House of Representatives Marwo Maria Alisabetta Casellati and Roberto Fico.
The talks with the president of all Italian authorities were fruitful and focused on fostering relations and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of finance, education, investment and development.
“Thanks to President Mattarella, Prime Minister Conti and Spokesperson for the two houses of which we have welcomed with me and my delegation, Somalia and Italy are working together to develop a profitable partnership with both of us civilian. ” Said President Farmaajo
President and his delegation are currently in Istanbul where he will hold talks with Turkish President Rajab Dayib Erdogan today.
